A gigantic tarantula attacked and killed an opossum mouse in a video captured by biologists from the University of Michigan in the Amazon rainforest.
The researchers shared the video along with a paper in Amphibian & Reptile Conservation describing the bizarre encounter as something from a horror movie.

Apparently, the spider killed the mouse by striking it on its neck before dragging it away into the bushes.
