A video of a non-Venda man telling a story in TshiVenda is making South Africans proud.
A video posted by Facebook user No Chill in Mzansi has gone viral because a non-Venda white man speaks fluent TshiVenda.
The surprise isn’t so much that he speaks vernac, but rather the way he speaks it so fluently and the story he tells.
In the story, the young man describes the way he had fun hanging out with his friends enjoying pap, morogo, and chakalaka. South Africans have been sharing the video far and wide expressing their surprise and appreciation.
