Watch: Zuma says "Oh please, come on!" to Maimane
Updated | By Tando Ntunja
Going viral on the heels of the January 8th statement in Rustenburg over the weekend is a video of President Jacob Zuma responding to a question on reconciliation raised by DA leader Mmusi Maimane.
The aftermath of the annual ANC January 8th Statement which took place in Rustenburg this year was marked with a TNA Breakfast hosted by SABC anchor, Peter Ndoro, where the statement itself and issues surrounding it were discussed.
The surprising moment came when Ndoro asks: "Mr President, one other theme that's come through is what DA leader Mmusi Maimane has said about racial tensions. You know they've been under pressure themselves with some of their members' racial tweets and so forth. Mmusi Maimane says that 'The ANC of Nelson Mandela has abandoned the vision of a non-racial party, the project of non-racialism has been leaderless because the ANC has failed to lead it. Our country has lost track of reconciliation because President Zuma doesn't know what to do.' "
