A woman was found dead after being trapped for a month in an elevator in Xi'an, China, mashable.com has reported.
On January 31, maintenance workers reportedly shut off the power supply to service an elevator that was not functioning properly. They then went on Chinese New Year break and only returned to work on March 1. That is when they found the dead body of the woman and what seemed like desperate scratch marks were also found on the lift walls.
CCTV reports that two people in charge of the elevator company have been arrested. The two face charges of involuntary manslaughter.
