'7de Laan' ceases filming until further notice due to COVID-19

'7de Laan' stopped filming after a crew member tested positive for COVID-19 - details below.
The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly posed a significant challenge to our way of living and working.
While the '7de Laan' production has followed all health and safety protocols to mitigate against the risk of infection of all their cast and crew, the production team confirmed to Jacaranda FM that one of their colleagues have tested positive for COVID-19.

For this reason, and for the health and safety of everyone involved in the show, they have immediately halted production until further notice.
They said that the crew member is currently in isolation. All cast and crew members have been asked to self-quarantine while undergoing testing and following all the necessary health procedures in accordance with government legislation.
During this time, their offices and studios will be disinfected.
"We wish to extend our well wishes and a speedy recovery to our colleague during this time," the statement read.
* '7de Laan' will continue to air on the respective channels as episodes are filmed months in advance.
