Andre Schwartz talks 'The Sound of Music', shares his newest single on The Scenic Drive

Andre Schwartz is a classically trained musician and actor who has become a household name in the South African entertainment industry. Currently, he is playing Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music at Montecasino.
Andre Schwartz is a classically trained musician and actor who has starred in various TV and theatre productions throughout his career.
When he is not playing lead roles in Joseph and his amazing technicolour Dreamcoat or The Phantom of the Opera, Andre is in the recording studio producing music that ranges from pop to Big Band.
His most recent role is that of Captain von Trapp in the beloved family musical The Sound of Music. The show is currently running at The Teatro at Montecasino until 29 April.
Andre released a new Afrikaans contemporary song titled 'Tweede Kans'. He shared the inspiration behind the song:
Asked if the old saying about children and animals being the most difficult to work with in showbiz is true, Andre answered: "it depends on how insecure you are".
Two of the children he acts with in The Sound of Music, Demi and Ruby Cohen, brought their charisma and infectious charm to the interview.
Rian teamed up with Demi and Ruby to test Andre Schwartz's musical knowledge. The results prove two things: 1) You are never too old or too professional to polish your skills, and 2) The two young Cohens have a very bright future in showbiz.
