According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), South Africa is one of the most stressed countries in the world. The University of Stellenbosch conducted a study and found that a local tea helps with anxiety, allergies, and high blood pressure.

A recent study conducted at Stellenbosch University (Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences) has found that green rooibos tea helps to reduce anxiety.

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) collaborated with Spanish researchers from the San Jorge University.
Zebrafish were used for the study because they are genetically similar to humans.

According to the study, the tea is caffeine-free and has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and vital minerals and vitamins.
These also help with pain and allergy reduction, heart health, and reduces high blood pressure.
