Arnold Coleske, well-known in the Afrikaans music industry and part of the organisers for the annual Afrikaans Is Groot visited the Scenic Drive studio.

Arnold and his brother Ewald were part of a band called The Coleske Brothers. They later went on to establish a record label called Coleske Artists, and have worked with artists such as Riana Nel, Tarryn Lamb and Touch of Class.

So what is that "x factor" that makes a superstar? Arnold says he looks out for commercial appeal, a great voice that has character, and something special about the artist that makes them stand head and shoulders above the rest.
If the artist can come up with an original song that can engage a wide audience, then that is even better.
