It turns out even astronauts are sometimes baffled by new technology.

It has happened to the best of us. You pack your camera and make sure you have extra batteries because you don't want to miss any big moments - only to get to your destination and find out that you have forgotten your memory card.

Of course, you can still use your camera, but you won't be able to get as many pictures as you would like. You might as well rely on memories alone.

Now, imagine if you forgot your camera's memory card when you are out in space?!

One of the crew members on Expedition 55 at the International Space Station found himself in a tricky situation when he couldn't figure out how to use a GoPro camera. The astronaut made contact with the team back in Houston, Texas to ask what the "No SD" message on the screen meant.

It turned out that the missing memory card was the least of the astronaut's problems. Between himself and the team members at the contact centre back on earth, there was very little knowledge of how to use the modern camera.

Who knew that an astronaut, who deals with complicated machinery and technology on a regular basis, would really be stumped by a simple video camera?
