In 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, Rian van Heerden got his first tattoo! Joe Mann and four other listeners joined Van Heerden by getting their first tattoos, too.
A tattoo is a form of self-expression and it is a very personal thing.
Rian van Heerden confessed to the Scenic Drive team and listeners that he went through a midlife crisis - and that he would really like a tattoo with meaning.

The team, our listeners, Francois van Coke, Brandon October, Kahn Morbee, Snotkop, Cito from Wonderboom, Brent Lindeque, and Jacaranda FM's very own Danny Painter convinced Rian to get one.
After a lot of confusion and hesitation - Van Heerden decided on getting a tattoo that will really mean something to him.
Joe Mann agreed to join Van Heerden by also getting his very first tattoo.
