'Children need help with their mental health' - Rian van Heerden after pupil's suicide

After the sudden death of an Affies student, Rian van Heerden weighed in on mental health issues.
On Wednesday, the country was once again shocked after the sudden death of an Affies student.
Ian Visser, who was an outstanding pupil, took his own life and left Rian van Heerden in so much pain.

"In your life, you will never face circumstances as hard as in school - it is such a hard environment."
Rian van Heerden weighed in on the mental health of young children.
"When I become president of this country, I will make sure that every school has a permanent clinical psychologist on board," he says.
"I will also get rid of the stigma about psychologists - there is absolutely nothing wrong with seeing a psychologist.
"Our mental health in this country is shocking - because our mind is our worst enemy - and we all need help."
Rian begged listeners to seek help and to help others - because we have no idea what people are going through.
