The Cricket World Cup did not go according to plan for the Proteas - but will Dup be good enough to be a cricket player for the Proteas?
We sent Dup to face a fast bowler in light of the Proteas’ current standing at the Cricket World Cup in England.
Rian van Heerden thinks that the Proteas' are not focused and he wanted to see if it really is that difficult to face a bowler who bowls at speeds of up to 135 km/h.
We roped in the help of former Harlequins fast bowler, Joe Barnard.
But what Dup didn’t know is that when he got at the batting nets, we were going to feed him sleeping tablets.

After drinking one schedule 5 sleeping tablet, under the watchful eye of an Emer G Med paramedics, of course, Dup’s reflexes started to dwindle. He managed to get at least one shot it. It took about 30 minutes for the sleeping tablet to kick-in.
Morné JK broke the news to Dup that he was to swallow another sleeping tablet. After another 30 minutes, Dup was completely disorientated – but none the less – he faced our fast bowler.
