'Crime is a bigger problem than state capture'- Economist Roelof Botha

Economist Dr Roelof Botha joined Rian van Heerden to talk about the economic state of our country.

Dr Roelof Botha is the son of the former minister Roelof Frederik "Pik" Botha of the National Party.

Dr Botha is a well-known economist and has been affiliated of the University Of Pretoria for the past 20 years.

Dr Botha joined Rian van Heerden to talk about the state of our economy. "People are impatient -  we must just give our president time. There will be job creation in South Africa", Botha confidently said.

"Crime is our biggest problem above state capture." According to Dr. Botha, one solution to the crime crisis in the country is to train the South African police force better and to create more jobs.

"Overall, I have a positive outlook on our economy and country."
