In 2013, Hougaard ended his career due to a serious injury.
Hougaard is now working hard to be part of the World Wide Scholarships (WWS) December talent scouting camp.
Hougaard joined the Scenic Drive with Rian to talk about this decision and why he wants to become a football player.
"I still have five years left in me."
"I told Nadiné to go to America to sing," he laughed.
