The Differently Abled Cricket Club inspires South Africa

The Differently Abled Cricket Club does not only want to develop the cricket skills but they set out to develop skills for their cricketers to attain the required skills for the workplace.
The Differently Abled Cricket Club is a registered NPO who aims to empower disabled people to take their part in sports.
They also set out to assist with getting differently-abled people jobs.
The DACC has three teams and more than 60 players, who play on a regular basis. They take part in the Northerns Cricket Union matches where they play against 'normal' cricket clubs.

Rian van Heerden was inspired by this NPO and decided to invite the chairman and some of the players to share their story.
Christo Pelzer, the chairman of DACC has been involved with the club since 2016.
Some of the players who joined Christo Pelzer was: Curtly Robberts, Jan Labuschagne, Heinrich Booyesen and Zane Esterhuizen.
