Do you regret getting inked?
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
A tattoo is an important - and permanent - decision. But what happens if you regret getting inked?
What is the ultimate sign of true love and commitment? A tattoo of your lover's name on your body, of course!
After all, it is only soulmates who will go as far as getting permanently inked. But does a permanent tattoo guarantee a long-term relationship?
For Randfontein's Chris Fuhri, the answer has been a resounding no. He had the name of his girlfriend tattooed on his chest and has lived to deeply regret the decision.
Years after the relationship ended, Chris still has the remnants of a bad decision on his body. He has tried several times to cover it up, but nothing seems to work - the woman's name is still prominent.
Chris's colleagues have now begun to think that maybe the only way for Chris to get rid of the tattoo is to grow enough chest hair to hide it!
Rian sympathised with poor Chris and set out to find someone who could help him get the tattoo removed properly, and for good.
That's where Nicolene Pelster from Centurion's NuSkinnovations came in. Nicolene explained the high-tech laser treatments offered at her facility and gave us all hope that Chris's little problem was easily solved.
In a great Make My Monday moment, Nicolene gifted Chris with free tattoo removal

sessions. In a few short months, Chris's wife will no longer have to look at the unsightly reminder of her husband's past. And maybe next time Chris will consult with her before getting inked.
