This Tipsy Tart recipe will add a festive 'kick' to your family dinner

We're heading towards the festive season and that means it's time to bring out the extravagant recipes. This Takeaway Wednesday we try Tipsy Tart.

Tipsy Tart is a fun alternative to the traditional boozy Christmas cake. With Doreen's recipe, a generous measure of brandy is all you need to complete this sweet dessert.

Rian was in an adventurous mood (it must be something to do with all the SDD finalists' shenanigans this week) so he decided to take things to the next level.
He improvised and made his own "Drunk Tart" by adding the infamous Stroh rum to the tart.
The dangerous drink gave the dessert a serious kick! No one on the team could stomach more than two bites.
The Drunk Tart is definitely not for the faint-hearted, but it might be interesting to serve it to everyone at the adults' table during Christmas lunch, if only to see who among your family has an iron gut!
