Dolly Parton has donated R15.3m towards research for Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine, which shows 95% protection from the virus.
Legendary and award-winning singer Dolly Parton has donated R15.3-million towards crucial research for Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine.
Parton helped with funding for research by Vanderbilt University Medical Center, which was involved in trials for Moderna's vaccine.

In April, Parton tweeted that she will make a donation to help find a cure and to encourage people that can afford it to make donations.
