South African bartender, flavourist and mixologist, Julian Short, shared some delicious mocktail recipes.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the sale of alcohol has been banned and South Africans are not allowed to buy alcohol in restaurants, bars or at their local liquor stores.

Friend to the Scenic Drive, Julian Short, who is an award-winning bartender and mixologist shared delicious and refreshing mocktail recipes that are easy to make at home.
Mocktails are non-alcoholic drinks consisting of a mixture of fruit juices or other soft drinks - perfect for summer.
Short shared his Hop Scotch and Cafe Racer mocktail recipes.
Hop Scotch
- 50ml pineapple juice
- 25ml honey water
- 25ml lemon/lime juice
- Top with non-alcoholic lager
- Garnish with mint or thyme
- Glassware - Highball

Cafe Racer
- 50ml cold brew coffee
- Top with your fave tonic after
- Pinch of salt
- Garnish with rosemary
- Glassware - Highball/Wine glass
