Engineer gets job after standing on Johannesburg street corner

Engineer Ayanda Mbatha landed a job after standing on a corner with his CV.
For months, engineer Ayanda Mbatha stood on the corner of Jan Smuts Avenue in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg - formally dressed while handing his CV to passing motorists.
In October, Mbatha landed a job as a project engineer at an engineering firm in Midrand.

The Scenic Drive team was joined by Mbatha to share more about his incredible journey and not giving up to pursue his dreams.
"I got retrenched. When COVID hit - it was the last one in, the first one out."
