A Facebook group was created to support local restaurants during the latest lockdown.
In June, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the country will move to level 4 of the lockdown amid concerns over the rapid spread of COVID-19.
Restaurants are only allowed to sell take-aways and food for delivery. All alcohol sales are also forbidden for the next two weeks.

A Facebook group was created to help support local restaurants in Gauteng.
Restaurant 911 is a place for locals, visitors, business owners, and all foodies to support local restaurant owners during these hard COVID-19 times.

Everyone is welcome to post local restaurant specials, offers, and business hours.
Two guys started the page to show off what local restaurants can offer. They post live videos of each place they visit in Gauteng - and will not accept payment or free food from anyone.

They also encourage others to visit local restaurants - and post about it.
One of the founders, Martin van der Vyver spoke to the Scenic Drive about the importance of saving restaurants.
