Fake booze discovered in Free State

Police have discovered fake alcohol in the Free State.

Residents of Bultfontein in the Free State, who bought their usual alcohol at three liquor stores in the town and wondered why it did not have the necessary kick, can now stop wondering about it.

Police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng says they found during an operation that the liquor stores sold fake alcohol.

Thousands of rands worth of fake alcohol was destroyed by police officers and officials from the Free State Department of Small Business Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs.
