All South Africans will relate to this very clever fast food franchise ad
Normally one South African fast food brand dominated the advertising world but it seems they might have some competition.
This new ad is filmed in Iceland and stars local and South African actors, showing that no matter where in the world you maybe you sill have a connection to your South African roots.
Media Update reports that this little gem comes from Joe Public saying, “It’s always an exciting challenge to think of the next execution for our client, Chicken Licken. This time, we really wanted to do something unexpected for an unexpected product – Double Chick’n BoerieTM Burger."

"Key to what we wanted to portray is the fact that South Africans, no matter where we are in the world, can recognise one another and have a common connection,” said Xolisa Dyeshana, chief creative officer, Joe Public United.
