When you are Candide Thovex, and your skiing tricks are extraordinary, then a desert, a national monument, and even a mound of volcanic ash can never be a match for your talent. Candide recently teamed up with Audi to produce a captivating free-skiing demo. Catch all the best moments in the video below.
French athlete Candide Thovex has built his free-skiing career on performing near-impossible tricks on all kinds of different terrains. Candide enjoys producing exciting, fast-paced videos of his stunts and using them to promote himself online.
For his latest compilation, Candide worked with Audi on their "Ski the World" campaign. To demonstrate the impressive capabilities of Audi vehicles, and to show just how far you can go with an Audi, Candide put together a video of himself skiing in several "dry" locations, including a monument in Inner Mongolia, the Great Wall of China, and even a mound of volcanic ash!

The video is spellbinding, and could compel even those of us who live in warm climates to take up skiing as a sport:
How's that for extreme sport?
Audi's tagline for this elaborate advertisement is "all conditions are perfect conditions". This video certainly drives that point home, though it is difficult to believe that a pair of skis can replace a good surfboard when you're out in the ocean?!
