A glass bridge in China is causing heart attacks
Updated | By Nkhensani Manabe
The bridge has a glass feature that is fascinating to look at - until you have to walk across it.
A video of a man who appears to be a tour guide walking across a glass bridge on Taihang Mountain in China has gone viral.
The problem? The man falls to his knees as hairline cracks appear on the glass, and it looks like everyone on the bridge with him is about to fall down the 1,180-meter drop.

In the video, posted on Mashable earlier this week, the man dramatically falls to the ground, apparently shouting in fear, while one other person casually walks across the bridge in the other direction.
According to Metro.co.uk, the East Taihang administration says it asked designers to include fragments of broken glass between the layers of the bridge, because they wanted to be "provocative".

After complaints on social media, they have apologised, but say they will not remove the fragments because they want people to experience the bridge for themselves.
