Google went down on Wednesday night in South Africa

Google in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town were out for about 30 minutes.
On Wednesday night, some South Africans experienced that their Google was not working.
Google and its services such as YouTube, Maps, and Gmail suffered a brief outage on Wednesday night.

The service monitoring platform Downdetector showed that the outage was first reported just before 7.30 pm in Gauteng, Cape Town, and Durban.
By 8pm, the Google sites were restored.
South Africans took to social media to complain that they were unable to access Google services.
