Gymnastic bus conductor climbs over passengers to collect fares
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
A bus conductor in Manila in the Philippines climbed over seats in a packed bus, determined to make sure everyone on board paid for their trip.
Using public transport in bad weather is a test of anyone's patience, most of all the drivers or conductors of the buses and trains people pile onto. When everyone is concerned with getting out of the rain and cramming themselves onto the nearest seat, it can be easy to forget that once you're dry you still have to pay your fare.

One bus conductor in Manila in the Philippines was allowing no room for this error. After a crowd rushed onto a bus, filling up the aisles and making it impossible for anyone to move around, the man still found a way to collect money from the passengers. He demonstrated incredible gymnastic skills as he clung to the bars in the middle of the aisle and climbed over seats to take money out of the passengers' hands.
Quezon City resident Daniel Mark was both impressed and terrified by the conductor's actions, saying: "The conductor was like Spiderman the way he was manoeuvring his way along the roof. I suppose it's the only way he could get around but I don't think it was safe."
Within 15 minutes, the conductor had collected all his fares and the journey could continue.
What's the weirdest thing you have ever seen while using public transport?
