After President Cyril Ramaphosa declared the coronavirus a national disaster - Psychiatrist Dr Jerrie Bezuidenhout explained how the pandemic may impact our mental health.
On Sunday, President Cyril Ramaphosa declared the coronavirus outbreak in South Africa a national disaster.
The announcement unsettled thousands of South Africans, who on Monday, descended on stores around South Africa to buy food and other basic goods.

How will the coronavirus outbreak impact our mental health?
Psychiatrist Dr Jerrie Bezuidenhout joined the Scenic Drive to shed light on this question.
"When we woke up this morning, we all were shocked about what is currently happening.
"Stay in your normal routine. We need to calm down so that we can think about our next step. Take control over the moment.
"If we stay calm we will stay productive," Dr Bezuidenhout.
