"I don't sing for Grammys" - Iconic singer Chaka Khan reveals
The 10-time Grammy Award winner, Chaka Khan, has revealed why she actually sings.
Yvette Marie Stevens, better known by her stage name Chaka Khan, is an American musician, singer, and songwriter.

Her career has spanned nearly five decades, beginning in the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the funk band Rufus.

In 1974, Khan won her first Grammy Award for the band's hit single, 'Tell Me Something Good'.
Khan has won 10 Grammy Awards and has been nominated 22 times.

Over the weekend, Khan posted a video on Instagram about why she sings and what her reaction is when she gets asked, "How does it feel to be a Grammy winner?"

"I have 10 Grammys, but you know what, I guess it is a nice feeling when you win your first Grammy. But when you look on it all, I don't sing for Grammys - I sing for the love of sharing love and for the love of music. I'm thankful. But I don't sing for Grammys," the iconic singer revealed on Instagram.
