As a news anchor - you deal with negative news every day.
Marcelle Gordon, the news anchor at eNCA and former Jacaranda FM presenter, is a great example of someone who keeps a close eye on what is happening in the world.
Gordon deals with a variety of negative stories every day - but finding positive stories is an intentional practice for her. Especially during the current state coronavirus pandemic.
Gordon joined the Scenic Drive to share some of the good news she has spotted during this time.
Positive Stories
"The first weekend of lockdown, I was on-air and I knew it wouldn't get better.
"I have made it my business to find positive stories.
"One of my best friend's were in the hospital after he was diagnosed for the coronavirus. The most positive story I carried was when I could announce when he was released from the hospital," Gordon.
Lockdown Extention
"I think the lockdown might be extended. We can be proud of the leadership of our country at the moment. If the lockdown is over - we can expect certain measurements to be in place."
