Updated | By Scenic Drive With Rian
Aretha Franklin will be the subject of Jennifer Hudson's new movie as she films the late singer's biopic 'Respect' in New York.
Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson and her on-screen leading man Marlon Wayans went full glam on the Manhattan set of the Aretha Franklin biopic, 'Respect.'
In 2018, the death of Franklin (76) shocked the world - and a new biopic is in the making to celebrate the iconic 'Queen Of Soul.'

According to reports, Hudson was handpicked by the 18-time Grammy winner to portray her in the official film about her life.
"It's a huge job, I'm terrified, to be honest. But I'm excited. It's such an honour to do that," Hudson said on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan last year.
The Scenic Drive is extremely excited to see this upcoming biopic of the legendary singer.
