Kim Jong-un's jogging guards steal the show
North Korea's Kim Jong-un arrived in Singapore for his meeting with President Donald Trump with his famous "running bodyguards" in tow.
It is accepted that whenever top political figures make diplomatic visits, the host city can expect a spectacle.
North Korea's Kim Jong-un is no exception. On arrival in Singapore on 11 June ahead of his meeting with United States President Donald Trump, Kim Jong-un was once again flanked by running bodyguards. The men were seen jogging alongside the North Korean official's armoured car.
The appearance of the guards is always a curiosity. Of course, the men are highly qualified security officials, but that does not stop people from wondering why Kim Jong-un has the men literally running the extra mile in order to protect him.

The bodyguards are selected from the Korean People's Army and put through rigorous tests and training before they can form part of this close guard, known as the Main Office of Adjutants or informally as Central Party Office #6.
Kim Jong-un's running bodyguards are just one part of his grand entrance. The Sun reports that the North Korean dictator had two decoy planes fly into the area before finally arriving on a third jet.
