Korean choir wows Spur with impromptu 'Lion King' performance
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
Korean super choir Harmonize showed off their vocal chops during lunch at a local Spur.
What do you do if you have a Djembe drum and a group of people always willing to belt out a song or two? Put on a memorable performance of "The Circle of Life", of course!
Patrons at Spur were treated to a show of epic proportions when a Korean choir by the name of Harmonize took up the drum and gave a beautiful rendition of Elton John's iconic song.
The video was uploaded to YouTube by one of the choir members, who wrote in the caption: "A moment when everyone becomes one with music even if language does not work."

Indeed their performance did bring many cultures together as the Korean singers belted out the isiZulu lyrics while restaurant staff from many of South Africa's own cultural groups watched and sang along.
While the exact location of the Spur is not known, it is presumably in the Tshwane area as that is where Harmonize travelled to compete in the World Choir Games 2018.
Harmonize won Grand Prix in the Pop Ensemble Category. Here is their winning performance:
