Legendary singer Mynie Grové: 'Johnny Clegg made us all so proud'

After the passing of Johnny Clegg earlier this year, legendary Afrikaans singer Mynie Grové shared some of her fondest memories of 'The White Zulu'.
Earlier this year, the death of Johnny Clegg shocked South Africa. Clegg was one of South Africa’s most celebrated musicians and passed away at the age of 66 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Over many decades, Johnny Clegg crept into the hearts of South Africans and fans all around the world.

Legendary Afrikaans singer Mynie Grové, who is well-known in the music industry, shared some of the special moments she had with Clegg.
"On Tuesday we lost one of the biggest stars - he was such a sweet guy," she said.
"When I lived in Johannesburg, we always used to walk into each other in studios.
"We used to do big shows together - and it was one of the biggest privileges ever to be part of that.
"He was so amazing and made us all so proud."
