The legendary Soli Philander chats about his arrest after trying to protect a little girl

The iconic Soli Philander joined the Scenic Drive following his arrest on Saturday.
TV, radio, and theatre legend Soli Philander is an activist who fights for people who are not able to use their voices.
In 2019, Philander was honoured at the Savannah Comics Choice Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
On Wednesday, Philander joined Rian van Heerden on the Scenic Drive to talk about his arrest on Saturday.

Philander accused the police in Cape Town of “enabling a paedophile” in a series of tweets - and urged anyone who was able to, to help get the little girl out of the situation. According to the Daily Voice, Philander was trying to save the girl from an alleged 'paedophile.'
On Monday, Philander appeared in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on charges of alleged assault and violation of a protection order in a long-running battle over the management of a community care centre for children and adults.
Philander was arrested for violating a peace order issued for the director of the Marion Institute, Peter Agulhas.
Philander confirmed that he was alright on social media after being taken into custody. Philander joined the Scenic Drive to talk about the incident and about his arrest over the weekend.
"Rian, you know I'm not a violent person, I can't even fight. But I moered him."
"When you touch kids, I will moer you."
Philander clarified the situation on the Scenic Drive.
