Lewis Williams is in the business of making tattoo dreams come true
Updated | By Nkhensani Manabe
Lewis Williams is an accomplished tattoo artist with a decade of experience and a CBS reality show under his belt. He came through to the Scenic Drive to do special tattoos for two lucky listeners.
Award-winning tattoo artist Lewis Williams knows has been known to conjure up some amazing things using needles and some ink. Loyal clients at Rumble and Hum, his high-end tattoo and piercing parlour and barber shop in Weltevreden Park, know that he and his team are serious about art.
The team at Rumble and Hum is the subject of a reality show by the same name on CBS Reality. Each week the show takes viewers into the shop, showing the variety of clientele and the crazy and quirky tattoo ideas that people walk in with.
Lewis hopes that the reality show will break down stereotypes about the world of tattoos.
Two very lucky Scenic Drive listeners got tattooed by Lewis for free.
JD Duvenhage from Bethal, Mpumalanga has loved bacon for as long as he can remember, and not least because it is the most versatile meat. JD believes everything in life is better with a little bit of love and bacon - and now he has the body art to back up his motto!
Adriana van den Bergh is a 26-year-old sushi enthusiast from Pretoria. She was listening to the Scenic Drive on her way back from Tzaneen, and was getting irritated that none of the listeners were sending in the correct answer.
According to Adriana, the best answer to the question "what food do you love so much that you would have it tattooed on you?" is sushi! Adriana describes the food as "fresh, light and summery", and would eat it 24 hours a day if she could.
The finished product will surely be a conversation piece wherever Adriana goes!
