'Life is about having a purpose' - Rugby legend Joel Stransky

Rugby legend Joel Stransky joined the Scenic Drive to talk about cycling the Cape Epic after his horrible accident.

Joel Stransky is a South African former rugby union player. Stransky is known for scoring all of South Africa's points, including the winning drop goal, against New Zealand in the 1995 Rugby World Cup final.
After playing rugby, Stransky started doing mountain biking, swimming and running to keep fit.
The legendary sports star joined the Scenic Drive to talk about his mountain bike journey after rugby.

"My big accident was about three years ago. I had to go for plastic surgery.
"I learned that we all make mistakes. Mountain biking is very exciting but it can be difficult.
"I am doing the Cape Epic again this year. It's a special event.
"Life is about having a purpose."
Stransky added that we must try different stuff in life to learn, grow and to find our purpose in life.
