Michka Barnard has three kidneys - and they all fully functioning.
On Monday, The Scenic Drive team spoke to Justuis Pieterse Manefelt who has over 1,500 Barbie dolls valued at R1,5-million.
This conversation made Rian van Heerden wonder if there are other people who live with things that many others don’t know about.

Michka Barnard reached out to the team and shared has three kidneys - and they all function normally.
In medical circles, having three kidneys is also known as a duplex kidney. According to the National Kidney Foundation, having three kidneys is relatively uncommon, and usually only discovered by accident.
"I have three kidneys, and they function normally. It's a generic thing - my mother and my grandmother also have three kidneys."
She has experienced some complications as a result of it, explaining that her blader used to crimp.
"I went to the doctor, and they said if I remove one kidney, my body can go into shock."
