Make My Monday: Full car service worth R3,000

With the help of West Rand Diesel & Auto Electrical Services, the Scenic Drive team was able to help a listener with a full car service.

The Scenic Drive team received a letter from a loyal listener, Charonel Pheiffer, requesting help for her car.

"I have been listening to the program for quite some time now and have always been so touched by the stories shared and people helped. I have never thought that a time would come where I would need to reach out to strangers for help but here I am," she wrote.

"I am a single woman and although I am employed my salary just covers the basics. Any emergencies and I am stuck. A year ago I helped a friend who needed money and was promised that they will pay me back. Here I am a year later and I have still not been paid. I actually have no one but myself to blame as I borrowed the money against my own better judgment.

"My need is not big. I need to have my car, "Blikkie" serviced and I doubt that it would be that expensive but on my budget, it is virtually impossible."

"Please would you consider "Making my Monday" a little less bluer?" she ended the letter.

Compliments of West Rand Diesel & Auto Electrical Services (Part of the Bosch Service Network):

They will service her car (belts, brakes, fluids, etc.) up to the value of R3,000.
