Make My Monday: Giving a cancer patient the gift of having a child

Rian van Heerden and the Scenic Drive received an emotional message from a man - asking for help for his brother after he was diagnosed with cancer.

The Scenic Drive received a request from Steyn van Zyl from Randburg asking for help for his brother. His brother, Thys van Zyl, recently got married to Rozanne. The couple received bad news 10 days after they got married and he decided to ask for help. 

HERE IS STEYN'S REQUEST

"Make My Monday: My brother was diagnosed with testicular cancer 2 weeks ago, just after he and his wife got back from their honeymoon. They now need to freeze sperm cells to assist them in having kids. It's will cost them about R15 000. They already received a donation of R6000 and need another R9000 to make this a reality. Will you please make my Monday and help them to get the remaining money?" 

WHAT THEY ARE GETTING:

Leilani Kuter who raised money by walking 27 kilometres per day for 27 days raise awareness and speak up for rape victims, has agreed to donate R9 000 to the cause and help the couple make their dream of having kids a reality. 

Kuter couldn't have her own kids because of her rape in 1992.
