Make My Monday Update: A mother's wish - portrait tattoos of her 'angel son' and 'rainbow baby'
The Scenic Drive team received a special request from a mother that would like to have portrait tattoos of her two sons. Ashleigh Pretorius joined the Scenic Drive to share her emotional story.
HERE IS HER MESSAGE:
The tattoo that I desperately want to get is a portrait of my two sons.
My first son Handré is our 'Angel Baby', after a very difficult pregnancy, Handré was born prematurely. It was a roller-coaster ride with his health.
We were told that Handré should be home for Christmas 2017 but sadly on the 20th of December, his body could no longer fight and he passed away.
He was the bravest little man that you would ever meet.
After his death, I was broken and I felt like I would never experience happiness ever again.
My second child Leandro is what I call a 'Rainbow Baby' - he is the rainbow after the storm that I experienced with Handré. Leandro is the most amazing son - and he is happy and healthy.
The reason why I want to get a tattoo of both my sons is that they both taught me such valuable lessons. Handré taught me that you are stronger than you can ever imagine and Leandro taught me that the will always be a rainbow after a storm.
