Make My Monday: Richard Jordaan's single makes it on air
Updated | By Scenic Drive with Rian
The Scenic Drive team received a letter from Richard's Jordaan daughter, Taylor, requesting for his song to be played on-air – and as always, the Scenic Drive team and Goldwagen delivered.
A listener of the Scenic Drive wrote to the team to plea for her dad's song to be played on radio.

"Hi, my name is Taylor and I want to tell you guys about my amazing dad Richard, he wrote a song about 8 months ago about his father. Who unfortunately passed away two years ago due to cancer.
"Even though my dad tries to put on a shield and tries act tough, I know he misses his father dearly, but I just want him to know that I look up to him and he is my biggest idol and my hero.
"My dad has a huge passion for music, which dates to he was younger. Music was the way he met my mother and still to this day he has the biggest passion for creating music and letting people have a great time. Wherever he sings and people get on their feet.
"I love him so much and I just want him to know that I can see he is trying his best and I am extremely grateful for all he has done for the family. It would mean the world to me if you could perhaps play his song on the radio."

In aid of Taylor's request, her father's song was played on the airwaves and the ever-helpful Goldwagen also stepped in and gifted Richard with R5,000 cash to help him elevate his music career.
