The Scenic Drive received a handwritten letter and needed to act immediately.
The Scenic Drive received a handwritten letter from a listener who needed a thoughtful gift to surprise her 80-year-old aunt.
HERE'S THE HANDWRITTEN LETTER:
Jolene Buitendag addressed a letter to The Scenic Drive. In the letter, she states that her 80-year-old aunt, Lorraine Bezuidenhout is alone during the national lockdown and her son lives in New Zealand.
Bezuidenhout received the news that she is also becoming blind - and there is nothing that the doctors can do. Jolene Buitendag decided to write to the Scenic Drive to surprise Bezuidenhout for her birthday on 18 June 2020.
THE SURPRISE:
Compliments of Nafeesa at Wanderlust Novelty Cakes
- Chocolates and chocolate-dipped strawberries.
Compliments of Amy at Hyper Flora Witbank:
- 80 stems of mixed roses
- 8 baskets full of roses
