Make My Monday: A surprise luxury stay in presidential suite at hotel
With the help of the Royal Elephant Hotel, the Scenic Drive team was able to surprise a couple with a luxury hotel stay in the presidential suite.
The Scenic Drive team received a letter from a woman asking for help to make her husband's money a bit better after a devastating time.
"My husband, Tinus owns a small liquor store and as you can imagine these past two years with COVID-19 was quite rough on him and his business.
"But I am really reaching out to you because I would like to give something back to my husband as he has bent over backwards for me and our son and so many other people and we would love to see him smile and assured him that we as family care for him and love him and appreciates everything that he does for us.

"During the time that the liquor store had to be closed due to COVID-19 regulations, Tinus has somehow managed to make sure that we as a family survived, without any complaint or asking for help. Not to mention during the time I had to be back at the office, he would make sure everything is sorted at home, cleaning, cooking, doing our laundry assisting our son with school work, he was like the mother of the house, working outside, fixing things, working really hard every single day and this coming from my husband.
"As Valentine’s Day is around the corner and falls on a Monday this year, I would love to treat Tinus to a magical meal, somewhere special, as he loves to dine. We do not really celebrate Valentine's Day, but I thought that this could be a small way of showing him how much I care for him and how much I appreciated him. As the budget is really tight, I thought reaching out to you, you could maybe help me show him how much I appreciate him."
