Met Gala 2021: Fashion's biggest night
There were show-stopping outfits from Kim Kardashian and Rihanna.
Affectionately referred to as “fashion’s biggest night out,” the Met Gala 2021 is a fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The event welcomes stars, young creatives, and industry paragons.
Last year's Met Gala was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic, and Monday's gathering was about a third smaller than usual with 300 guests, with proof of vaccination required, though they did not wear masks while posing upon their arrival.

This year's theme was 'In America: A Lexicon of Fashion'.
Some guests took the theme more seriously than others. Jennifer Lopez wore a Western black hat over a plunging bronze gown and fur jacket.
The star that has the world talking is Kim Kardashian. Kardashian wore Balenciaga, and designer of the look, Demna Gvasalia turned heads by dressing entirely in black, even their faces covered in thick black fabric.
