Parts of Gauteng have been experiencing heavy rain and flooding over the past few weeks. Meteorologist Joel Guy Chabata spoke about the current weather conditions.
Over the past few weeks, parts of Gauteng and other neighbour provinces have experienced heavy rain and flooding.

Jacaranda FM News recently reported that due to heavy floods in Qwaqwa, Free State, the provincial education department has suspended schooling.
It was also reported that at least 25 people died due to the flooding in Ladysmith in KwaZulu-Natal.

The province has R3.3-billion in damages that occurred during the current summer season.
