Minister Gwede Mantashe graduates with MBA

Minister Gwede Mantashe shared the exciting news on social media.
On Saturday, the Minister of Mineral Resources, Gwede Mantashe (65), graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Mancosa.

Due to COVID-19, minister Mantashe graduated virtually and used the opportunity to deliver a graduation speech aimed at inspiring young people to study.

"Studying for an MBA requires a lot of discipline, hard work, & the ability to stick to time. However, when you achieve your MBA, you don't feel the length of the journey. It takes courage & it is an important qualification. I encourage young people to study," Minister Mantashe wrote on Twitter.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has on Sunday congratulated Mineral Resources and Energy Minister Gwede Mantashe for obtaining his Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Ramaphosa said that what Mantashe achieved demonstrated that education remained the ‘most powerful weapon’ for transforming the future.
“We are proud of you Mqwathi for this academic achievement, and we remain inspired by your unwavering commitment to lifelong learning.”
