Ndumiso Ngcobo gets candid on the Scenic Drive
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
Ndumiso Ngcobo is a radio host, prolific columnist and author whose wit and keen sense of humour have made him a household name.

South African audiences will know Ndumiso Ngcobo for his wicked sense of humour and his deliciously unfiltered opinions. Through his columns in the Sunday Times and his books Is It Coz I’m Black? , Some Of My Best Friends Are White and Eat, Drink and Blame the Ancestors Ndumiso highlights the lighter side of the burning issues South Africans grapple with every day.
He describes himself as "obsessed with the human condition" and often muses in his work about the strange nature of human relations.
Ndumiso believes that one of the best ways to live a good life is to take time every now and then to "unplug"- from social media, from the workplace - and spend some time alone. He often takes solo road trips with no planned itinerary, and uses this time "getting lost".
