Philcity Reeken's mother loses battle against COVID-19

Philicity Reeken's 82-year-old mother passed away on Friday morning due to COVID-19.
On Monday, Philicity Reeken's 82-year-old mother felt ill and had a fever of 38,9.
She was immediately admitted to hospital to get treatment - and underwent a COVID-19 test.

On Monday, Reeken mentioned that her mother was not doing well.
On Wednesday, her mother tested positive for COVID-19.
Early on Friday morning, Philicity Reeken's mother passed away.
Reeken's childhood and longtime friend, Karen Zoid shared her condolences with Reeken.
"Rest in peace Mrs Johnson, I know aunty faith carried aunty on strong hands to the other side. Thank you for Philicity and all the beautiful things we will remember about you in and through her."
