'Politicians should not get involved with sports' - Football legend Mark Fish on the Scenic drive

South African retired football player Mark Fish joined the Scenic Drive to talk about his career and foundation.
The football star firmly believes in “the power of the ball” as an effective tool to empower the youth. The power of sport lies in its ability to instil, inspire and affect positive change.

Fish recently launched his Mark Fish Foundation, the Foundation aims to changes lives through the sustainable engagement of communities and collaborative partnerships using sport as the platform. It further sets out to change attitudes, uplift communities and empower individuals.
Fish joined the Scenic Drive with Rian and congratulated the Springboks on their Rugby World Cup win.
"The Springboks are a great team. They are focused and the right players are in the team. No matter the colour of your skin, the best players should be picked," he told Rian.
"Politicians should not get involved in sports. The moment politicians are involved - things so wrong," he added.
